The Blancett Turbine Meter is offered in two different
design series - The Model 1100 and the Model 1200.
The Model 1100 is specifically designed and constructed
to provide reliable floodwater flow monitoring, in flow
ranges from 0.3-3 GPM (1 0-1 00 BPD) up to 500-5000
GPM (I 7,143-171,423 BPD) - even under the most
rigorous demands of remote well head operations.

The Model 1200 is designed for industrial and chemical
processing applications requiring durability as well as
accuracy. This design features an RF pick up to operate
more effectively in lower flow ranges from 0.25-2.5 GPM
up to 2.5-25 GPM.

RUGGED RELIABILITY
The Model 1100 Turbine Meter features a rugged
Type 316 stainless steel housing with tough, abrasive-
resistant tungsten carbide sleeve-type journal bearings
to endure the corrosive water and/or other abrasive fluids
frequently encountered in waterflood projects.
This durable design is also more reliable and cost-effective
in a wide range of industrial class applications in which
the process fluid is too dirty, lacks adequate lubricity, or
where the risk of overspeeding is a potential problem for
turbine meters featuring other bearing designs.

The Model 1200 Turbine Meter is offered with Type 303
stainless steel sensor bodies, featu?ing Type 440C steel
ball bearings. These sensors are sized for measuring
industrial applications (below 25 GPM) where the process
fluid offers adequate lubricity, cleanliness and chemical
compatibility with the ball bearing design.
This design features a self-contained electronic RF pickup
to improve the operating efficiency at the lower end of
the flow range by eliminating the 'magnetic drag" on the
turbine wheel, inherent in conventional turbine pickups.

EASY INSTALLATION/SERVICEABILITY
The Model 1100 and 1200 Turbine Meters are both simple
to install and easy to service. They can both operate in
any orientation (horizontal to vertical) as long as the
'flow direction' arrow on the meter is aligned in the same
direction as the actual line flow. The Model 1100 meter
design features a unitized rotor support assembly with
precision-machined flow straightener blades (3, 4 or 6
blades dependent on meter size) to help stabilize
turbulent flow patterns. A length of (at least 10 diameters)
straight inlet pipe and a length of (at least 5 diameters)
straight outlet pipe is recommended.
